Cincinnati Bengals franchise wide receiver Tee Higgins has requested a trade, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Higgins said he loves Cincinnati and hoped to be with the team long term, but he is disappointed that the team has not had any talks about a long-term contract extension since March 2023, per sources.
Higgins, a second-round draft pick in 2020, was set to enter free agency after his rookie contract with Cincinnati expired. In his first four seasons with the team, he caught 257 passes for 3,684 yards and 24 touchdowns.
