By now, Bengals fans are well familiar with the fact that when it comes to their favorite NFL team, the national media has no clue what they’re talking about.
Four example, Sports Illustrated’s Paul Lukas strongly felt that the Bengals’ uniforms were one of the worst in the league and that they needed to be re-designed. So he decided to host a re-design contest to see if he could upgrade what he thought to be an outdated uniform.
As it turned out, Lukas was in for a few surprises. For example, he did not realize how much Bengals fans love the striped helmets.
