Germaine Pratt and Josh Bynes might be the Cincinnati Bengals’ starting inside linebackers, but the team needs depth behind them.
The Bengals addressed their linebacker position in back-to-back rounds, drafting Logan Wilson in the third and Akeem Davis-Gaither in the fourth round. Bengals coaches examined both players at this year’s Senior Bowl.
Davis-Gaither is an intriguing pick. The Appalachian State product is an athletic linebacker who can play in the middle or the outside. He is also a solid coverage linebacker.
