Reactions: Tony McRae leaves Cincinnati Bengals for Detroit Lions, per report

Cornerback Tony McRae, a restricted free agent who played in all 16 games for the Cincinnati Bengals last season, is headed to the Detroit Lions, according to multiple reports.

McRae played for the Bengals for three seasons. He signed a one-year deal with the Bengals in April 2019.

The signing would reunite McRae with former Miami RedHawks receiver Brayden Coombs, who became the Lions' special teams coordinator in January after seven seasons as the Bengals' assistant special teams coach and 10 seasons overall in Cincinnati.
