Oakland Raiders defensive coordinator Paul Guenther, a former assistant coach and coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals, criticized the 12-game suspension of Raiders (and former Bengals) linebacker Vontaze Burfict by referring to it Thursday as "a witch hunt from the beginning," per a report via Twitter from Las Vegas Review-Journal's Myles Simmons.
Last week, Burfict had his suspension for the remainder of the 2019 NFL season upheld following an appeal heard by NFL-NFLPA jointly appointed appeals officer and Hall of Famer Derrick Brooks.
