Jack Brennan is a cross-dresser. He made that known Wednesday, for a story posted on The Athletic website. I was asked to write about it. I said no at first.
Who cares?
I worked with Jack for 30 years, first at the old Cincinnati Post, where he covered the Bengals, then when he became the team’s media relations director.
"The first time I ever cross-dressed I was 3 years old," Jack told me Wednesday. "I got a huge kick out of it. Quickly I realized, 'You’re never going to be able to tell anybody about this, for the rest of your life'.
