With the Cleveland Browns' trade Wednesday of quarterback Baker Mayfield to the Carolina Panthers, Mayfield is no longer on an AFC North team the Cincinnati Bengals will face twice.
But that doesn't mean Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow might not get a chance to defeat Mayfield - something Burrow hasn't done yet in his young NFL career. The Bengals are scheduled to welcome Mayfield and the Panthers to Paul Brown Stadium in Week 9 of the upcoming season, on Nov. 6 - though Mayfield hasn't been assured of the starting job with the Panthers.
Burrow lost twice to Mayfield and the Browns in 2020, and once in the Bengals-Browns game in which both played last season.
