The Cincinnati Bengals held an open practice in Paycor Stadium in front of fans on Saturday evening, and it appears as if the injury bug has reared its ugly head.
Tight end Mike Gesicki, who signed a three-year extension with the Bengals after gaining 665 yards in 2024, seemed to have tweaked a hamstring after he caught a pass and turned upfield, per James Rapien.
Gesicki was often the third-most reliable receiver on the field for the Bengals in 2024 and formed a solid connection with Joe Burrow. After a few years of a rotating door at the position, Gesicki gives Burrow the first pass-catching tight end on a multi-year deal.
