A wild new mock draft from former Jacksonville Jaguars running back and now NFL Network analyst Maurice Jones-Drew has the Cincinnati Bengals taking someone different than Joe Burrow with the first overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Jones-Drew projects the Bengals will pass on Burrow and take Oregon Ducks quarterback Justin Herbert instead.
He called Herbert a “An AFC North-style quarterback with a big frame and strong arm to lead the Bengals in bad weather late in the season.”
Herbert had a stellar college career at Oregon as he led the Ducks to three bowl games, including a victory in the 2020 Rose Bowl.
