Kerry Wynn honors 79-year-old grandma in Bengals debut

In late March, the Bengals announced the signing of six-year Giants’ veteran Kerry Wynn. Yesterday, he made his anticipated debut for Cincinnati, and there was a special story behind Wynn’s first game in Orange and Black.

Per Bengals’ senior columnist Geoff Hobson, Wynn wanted to give his grandma a special birthday present as she turned 79. Well, all she wanted was a sack and a good game. That’s exactly what Wynn delivered.

“After the game he grabbed the fumble ball from his locker, which was taped with the message, ‘I love you,’ and planned to give it his grandmother before getting on the bus.
