Kansas City reaches fifth straight AFC Championship, will face Cincinnati-Buffalo winner

The Kansas City Chiefs reached the AFC Championship for the fifth consecutive year with their 27-20 win Saturday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and will face the winner of Sunday's divisional-round playoff showdown between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Bills in Buffalo.

Chiefs starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes did miss part of the second quarter with what's believed to be a high-ankle sprain. He returned in the second half to help Kansas City to the victory.

Backup Chad Henne, 37 years old and in his fifth season with Kansas City, replaced Mahomes while the starter was examined during the second quarter.
