As we await official word on the status of Joseph Ossai, it appears the Cincinnati Bengals’ prized rookie suffered a significant wrist injury in Saturday’s preseason win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
According to Bengals radio broadcaster Dave Lapham, Ossai is believed to have suffered a broken wrist, though the team is still awaiting results of further testing.
“Unfortunately, Joseph Ossai, it seems he’s got a fractured wrist, a broken wrist,” Lapham said on his podcast. “He had a cast on as he was boarding the plane after the game last night. He’s gonna get further tests, MRI’s and that sorta thing done.
