Joe Burrow’s had a bruising first three games. Can the Cincinnati Bengals protect him?

Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Malik Jackson was flagged for roughing the passer after he clobbered Joe Burrow in the second quarter of the Week 3 tie. It was a welcome-to-the-NFL-type hit that Burrow will probably remember for a while. The massive shot knocked the wind out of Burrow and the rookie quarterback had to exit for one play. But if Burrow keeps taking hits at the rate he’s taking, he might be out for whole games.

“It sucks. It hurts me because I know how much Joe wants to win. I know how much he dedicates himself to this game and the pressure that he has coming to this team,” Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd said.
