The Cincinnati Bengals’ affinity with former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow quickly went from presumed to heavily implied.
Initial comments from various assistant coaches back in January then turned into higher praise after interviewing the Heisman trophy winner at the NFL combine. As everyone predicted, the Bengals have been locked in on Burrow.
Per The Cincinnati Enquirer, Burrow has not been moved from the top spot of the Bengals’ draft board since sometime in 2019.
Bengals sources told The Enquirer Burrow was at the top of the team’s draft board before the NFL regular season ended.
