Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow tweeted Friday that he had looked forward to taking part in LSU's pro day - which was canceled because of concerns related to new coronavirus - with his former Tiger teammates.
Burrow is expected to be the top overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and the Cincinnati Bengals have given indications that they'll select him regardless of whether he participated in the pro day. But Burrow had said he planned to take part in the pro day to help support his teammates who are draft prospects.
Members of the Bengals' coaching staff were expected to travel to Baton Rouge for the pro day before it was canceled.
