The Cincinnati Bengals didn’t just draft the player that is Joe Burrow with the top overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. They drafted the stellar young man that comes with the elite quarterback.

Burrow, who grew up in The Plains, Ohio, likely was a first-hand witness of the poverty that happens in some of the rural Ohio counties. For Athens, according to Cleveland.com, they rank 67th of 88 countries in median household income.
