Kansas City fans on social media embraced Saturday's report by NFL Network's Tom Pelissero that Cincinnati Bengals safety Jessie Bates III was fined $50,000 for allegedly faking an injury against the Chiefs.
Pelissero also reported that the NFL fined Ja'Marr Chase $15,914, related to the taunting penalty he was assessed as he celebrated teammate Tee Higgins' touchdown.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported via Twitter that the league fined the New Orleans Saints $350,000, head coach Dennis Allen $100,000, co-defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen $50,000 and defensive end Cameron Jordan $50,000 for what the league felt was Jordan faking an injury and taking a knee in the fourth quarter Monday night.
