Cincinnati Bengals safety Jessie Bates III delivered a hit on the Tennessee Titans' Adam Humphries during last Sunday's 31-20 win, leaving Humphries with a concussion that apparently will keep the receiver out of action Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
Bates was not penalized or ejected for the hit.
Bates was fined $28,075 last November for a hit on Rams receiver Brandin Cooks.
Two weeks earlier, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton entered concussion protocol after a brutal hit to the head from Washington Football Team linebacker Jon Bostic as Dalton was sliding.
Bostic was fined $12,000 for the hit.
