Jermaine Burton is learning Joe Burrow’s preferences on routes in the absence of Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins

When Jermaine Burton was selected in the third round of the Draft out of Alabama, he was probably dreaming of playing next to Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

That scenario has been put on hold with neither of the star receivers in camp so far.

Here’s what Burton said when interviewed by reporters (courtesy of Jeremy Rauch) about not getting to learn from two of the best so far:

Truth be told, I’d rather both [Chase and Higgins] be here now. But I understand how stuff works. If anything, I’d rather just be working and learning from those guys who’ve been here before me.
