Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor takes pride in the fact that he keeps notes. He believes you learn from experience, so every experience he has with the Bengals is chronicled.
Since the Bengals hired him in February 2019, Taylor has overseen a 2-14 season where the Bengals had the worst record in the NFL. He played a big part in the draft process that followed and the selection of quarterback Joe Burrow.
After that, he coached a team through a pandemic, through a trade request by one of the defense’s longest-tenured starters, through Burrow’s ACL injury and then through one of the most active offseasons the franchise has had.
