Not that long ago, the question would’ve seemed random and completely pointless. But now it’s worth asking: is Jake Browning the next Brock Purdy?
Browning, of course, has been a revelation for the Cincinnati Bengals the last two weeks.
He has the second highest completion percentage above expected and the third highest EPA per play in that span. Purdy, meanwhile, is first in EPA per play but behind Tommy DeVito, Browning, Zach Wilson, and Derek Carr in CPOE.
