DENVER – The Cincinnati Bengals went into Sports Authority Field at Mile High and, against the Denver Broncos’ fourth-ranked defense, did things offensively they haven’t done against anyone other than Cleveland.
And defensively, they did what they haven’t done in two weeks by coming up with big, game-winning plays.
The Bengals made it interesting by allowing a late, long touchdown drive and couldn’t quite salt away a two-score, fourth quarter lead, but both sides of the ball did just enough for a season-saving 20-17 victory in Denver.
The beleaguered offensive line formed some good pockets and kept Andy Dalton upright and gave him time, mostly.
