'I thought he looked good': Joe Burrow participates in practice for first time since appendectomy

The Cincinnati Bengals took another step toward being ready for the regular season as quarterback Joe Burrow returned to the practice field on Sunday wearing pads.

Burrow, 25, participated in everything but the 11-on-11 periods of practice. Bengals head coach Zac Taylor spoke about his starting quarterback returning to practice and was pleased with the limited work he participated in.

"I thought he looked good," Taylor said. "It’s good to get him involved. He did some individual, he did some 7-on-7 so that’s a good step in the right direction."

Burrow underwent an appendectomy on July 26, the day before the Bengals started training camp.
