Through three games, the Cincinnati Bengals are still winless. While they do have a tie on their record, entering the fourth quarter with the lead on the road against the Eagles, the Bengals were unable to pull out their Week 3 matchup.
No. 1 overall pick Joe Burrow played well, outshining Eagles’ starter Carson Wentz. Burrow went for 44 pass attempts, comping 31 of them. That compares favorably to Wentz’s 29-for-47.
Burrow also notched two touchdowns to Wentz’s one.
But, what’s even more impressive and something to praise the rookie for is the lack of interceptions.
