At the time, Higgins was in high school and six years away from posting a 1,000 yard season for a Cincinnati Bengals team that’s about to play in the Super Bowl. Green was Higgins’ favorite wide receiver in the NFL, and Higgins admired Green’s body control, his ability to catch a jump ball and his grit.
