Kicker Shayne Graham played for 10 different teams during his 15-year NFL career. Yet, when he officially decided to retire from the game this month, he wanted to assure Cincinnati went down on paper as his home.

That’s why Graham reached out to head coach Marvin Lewis to let him know when he turns his retirement papers into the league Tuesday, he wanted it to come in conjunction with the Bengals organization.

“I really felt like Cincinnati became my home away from home,” Graham said, moments after signing his retirement papers at Paul Brown Stadium.
