Former Bengals running back Jeremy Hill cut by Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders announced Wednesday that they released running back Jeremy Hill, the former Cincinnati Bengals rusher who signed with the Raiders earlier this week.

Hill did not play in the National Football League last season. He spent his first four NFL seasons with the Bengals.

After the New England Patriots' Super Bowl LIII win, Hill, 27, said Bengals fans "tormented, trolled and disrespected" him for years in an Instagram post, despite the fact that Hill's injury prevented him from contributing much on the field to the Pats' championship run.

Hill tore his ACL in September 2018 in his first regular-season game for New England.
