NFL Network announced that the eighth season of its A Football Life series will premiere with former Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer as its subject, and also will feature former Bengals wide receiver, NBC Sunday Night Football u200banalyst and long-time Fort Thomas resident Cris Collinsworth later in the season.
The Palmer episode will air at 8 p.m. Eastern on Friday (Sept. 14) on NFL Network. The Collinsworth episode will air at a date to be announced.
The 38-year-old Palmer, the No. 1 pick in the 2003 NFL Draft who played for the Bengals from 2003 until he was traded to the Oakland Raiders in 2011, announced his retirement from football in January.
