The Cincinnati Bengals fell short in their second preseason game, as they lost to the Washington Football Team 17-13.
While the Bengals’ offense struggled most of the night, with Brandon Allen getting the Bengals’ lone touchdown on a 1-yard rush, there was still a bright spot in the scoring column.
Rookie kicker Evan McPherson has a monster leg, and he is continuing to impress through two preseason games.
In the preseason opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, McPherson had two field-goal opportunities, one from 40 yards and one from 31 yards.
