Darius Phillips was put on IR with a groin injury on November 14, two days before the Cincinnati Bengals’ Week 10 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
On December 10, he was activated, and he’s been an absolute disruptor ever since.
Last week, in a win over the Houston Texans, Phillips earned a Pro Football Focus grade of 90,9, which was the second highest mark of all cornerbacks in Week 16. He was targeted six times, but allowed just four receptions for 28 yards. That earned him a coverage grade of 90.
