Cincinnati Bengals to sign Taft/OSU product Adolphus Washington from Cowboys

Adolphus Washington is returning home.

The Bengals are expected to sign the Cincinnati native and former Taft High School star from the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad Tuesday, first reported by Pro Football Talk.

The move is pending a physical on Wednesday.

Washington, a 6-foot-4, 295-pound defensive tackle, was a third-round pick by the Buffalo Bills in 2016 after four seasons at Ohio State. The Bills released Washington earlier this month after he totaled 56 tackles and 3.
