Cincinnati Bengals' Tee Higgins requests signed jersey from Reds' Elly De La Cruz

Cincinnati's National Football League team continues to show love for its Major League Baseball team as the Reds' remarkable month of June continues.

On Saturday, Bengals receiver Tee Higgins tweeted that he wants a signed jersey from Reds phenom Elly De La Cruz, who Friday night became the first Cincinnati player to hit for the cycle since Eric Davis in 1989. (Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes recently requested and received a signed ball and bat from De La Cruz.)

The Enquirer's Gordon Wittenmyer wrote earlier about how Bengals QB Joe Burrow said De La Cruz's MLB debut energized the city.
