Cincinnati Bengals last minute drive falls short in 31-27 loss to Indianapolis Colts

Joe Burrow spiked the football about ten feet in the air after scoring the second touchdown of the game, and the Cincinnati Bengals were routing the best defense in the NFL.

Five minutes later, the Bengals crashed back to reality.

Even though the Bengals built a 21-point lead early in the second quarter Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, Cincinnati blew its biggest lead of the season and lost to the Colts, 31-27.

Burrow finished with 313 yards, but he didn’t lead a touchdown drive after the opening minute of the second quarter.

During the first 16 minutes on Sunday, the Colts didn’t have an answer for Burrow and the Bengals offense.
