Cincinnati Bengals decline offensive lineman Billy Price's fifth-year option

Billy Price’s days in Cincinnati figure to be winding down.

As expected, the Bengals have declined to pick up Price’s fifth-year option, a source informed The Enquirer. The 2018 first-round pick is set to become a free agent after the season.

Price’s had an underwhelming time in his first three seasons as an interior lineman in Cincinnati. He started 10 games at center as a rookie. In 2019, he lost a training camp position battle at center to Trey Hopkins. He was then assigned to be the team’s utility interior lineman. The 6-foot-4 lineman eventually saw action at all three interior line positions for the Bengals.
