Waynes signed the third richest contract among free-agent cornerbacks last year, and then a freak pectoral injury cost him the entire season before he ever played a down for the Cincinnati Bengals.
“It was frustrating just because you know I was really looking forward to coming in here and you know being able to work with the guys,” Waynes said following OTAs on Tuesday. “I was gonna look at that year as really trying to understand the defense and understand the scheming, and it was frustrating but it's football.
