Cincinnati Bengals among most-fined NFL teams during 2022 season, per report

The Cincinnati Bengals finished the 2022 season with more than $118,000 in fines from the National Football League, according to a report from Gambling.com.

The total was the fourth highest among NFL teams this past season, according to the report, trailing only the Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The biggest fine assessed during the season to a Bengals player was safety Jessie Bates' $50,000 penalty for allegedly faking an injury when Bates went down in the end zone as the Kansas City Chiefs were threatening to score during the Bengals' 27-24 win at Paycor Stadium in December.
