The Bengals were looking for the veteran defensive coordinator to accompany Zac Taylor in his first head coaching gig.
After hiring Lou Anarumo two weeks ago, they added another in that mold on Thursday.
The Bengals officially added Mark Duffner as the senior defensive assistant under Anarumo, as well as Gerald Chatman as a defensive assistant.
Those additions bring the coaching staff to 22 under Taylor, the most in Bengals history.
