Cincinnati Bengals add depth at center by picking Georgia's Trey Hill in the NFL Draft

While the Cincinnati Bengals already had 13 offensive linemen on the roster, they only had two centers on the depth chart.

Then in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Cincinnati added Georgia center Trey Hill.

Hill was a two-year starter at center, and he was a second team All-SEC player in 2019. As a sophomore, Hill started in all 14 games, and he started in all eight games he played in 2020.

Last season, Hill’s season ended early due to a reported minor surgery on both of his knees.

On the Bengals roster, Hill will join Trey Hopkins, who is recovering from an ACL injury, and Billy Price, who is on the last year of his rookie deal.
