A $20 bet on the Cincinnati Bengals to win the Super Bowl would win $2,500 should the team break through this season and win the first league championship in franchise history.
That's according to preseason futures odds at Bovada, where the Bengals moved from 100/1 in March to 125/1 in May following the NFL Draft.
The New England Patriots are currently 7/1 (a $20 bet on the perpetual favorites would win $140), but a bettor tempted to invest in the Bengals in search of striking it rich with first-year head coach Zac Taylor might instead stay patient.
