Carson Palmer, the Arizona Cardinals' quarterback who played for the Cincinnati Bengals from 2003 until he was traded to the Oakland Raiders in 2011, has been criticized for his performance early this season, and his head coach has been among the outspoken.
"The quarterback has to play better, simple," Bruce Arians said of Palmer after the Cardinals beat the Colts in overtime.
But Arians explains that he's dished it out because he's confident Palmer can take it.
According to some of the eyeballs in the visitors’ locker room at Lucas Oil Stadium, Palmer looked a little wounded when told of Arians' initial critique.
