Long-time Local 12 WKRC-TV sports anchor and former Cincinnati Bengals preseason play-by-play broadcaster Brad Johansen will be back on the air in Ohio soon, this time at NBC4 in Columbus.
Johansen worked at WKRC for more than 25 years as sports anchor and reporter, sports director and news anchor. He also did play-by-play for CBS Sports Network.
He left Local 12 in April 2018 to become an evening news anchor and reporter for WRAL in Raleigh, North Carolina, but was let go about one year later because of a "personnel matter," according to station officials.
