Taping a segment with Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow for NFL Network, former Bengals great Boomer Esiason called Burrow "a better player than I ever was already," according to a tweet Thursday from Bengals radio voice Dan Hoard.
Burrow talked about plans to improve his game earlier this week as his second NFL training camp got under way.
Last November, Esiason and Phil Simms agreed during CBS' "NFL Today Postgame" that Burrow was asked to do a lot - perhaps too much - before his knee injury against Washington.
