Good morning Bengals fans!
With regular-season play concluding, the first Monday of the postseason is typically a big one. Black Monday often claims many NFL head coaches, and we’re sure to see several be handed pink slips today (Arthur Smith got his from the Atlanta Falcons as the clock struck midnight).
The Bengals obviously won’t be part of that with Zac Taylor, but there’s a chance we’ll see a few assistant coaches let go. And there’s a chance some of those teams with head-coach openings will come after offensive coordinator Brian Callahan and/or defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, both of whom have been candidates to become lead coaches in recent years.
