According to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com, rookie wide receiver and first-round pick John Ross may not be ready for the start of training camp. Ross underwent shoulder surgery to repair his labrum after the NFL combine and isn’t expected to be ready before “early August or so.”
The Bengals selected Ross with the ninth overall pick in the NFL draft in April. Ross ranked as the third best wide receiver and 19th best overall prospect on the PFF draft big board.
