About 24 hours before his ninth training camp with the Cincinnati Bengals, A.J. Green talked to The Enquirer about how excited he was to be back at 100 percent. A day later that all changed at Welcome Stadium in Dayton.
The Enquirer reported that Green suffered a left ankle injury when he and cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick went airborne for a ball thrown by Andy Dalton. Green and Kirkpatrick both fell to the ground trying to make an attempt at the football.
Players didn’t seem too concerned at the end of Saturday’s practice.
