The Bengals’ thinning of their roster will be in full force today. At least one of their several cuts will be at the quarterback position, and we know of one now.
Per NFL insider Tom Pelissero, the Bengals are waiving Brandon Allen.

Allen was signed by the Bengals on August 1st. He was originally was a sixth-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2016, and then later spent time with the Los Angeles Rams and Denver Broncos.
