Bengals waive RB Quinton Flowers, don’t plan to add him to practice squad

The Cincinnati Bengals continue to narrow their roster amid the 4 pm EST deadline. Earlier today, they waived running back Quinton Flowers, per Jay Morrison of The Athletic.

This is coming just a few days after sixth-round pick Rodney Anderson went down with a torn ACL. It was hopeful that Anderson’s injury and a fairly strong performance against the Colts would’ve helped Flowers’ chances of making the roster. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

The Bengals may even reduce this list to four after Anderson’s torn ACL.
