The Bengals are waiving Jake Dolegala, who was added last season after going undrafted.
Dolegala is a tall, 6-foot-7 quarterback. The 23-year-old was, however, inexperienced.
Out of Central Connecticut State, Dolegala spent last season with the Bengals, struggling to find time in a room even after the team benched veteran starter Andy Dalton. They opted to give rookie Ryan Finley, one of two quarterbacks left on the roster, a few starts.
Finley’s time didn’t turn out well, but he’s still in good favor with the team as they opted to keep him over Dolegala.
