In the midst of a shortened week, the Cincinnati Bengals practiced for the first time today since defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The secondary is the spotlight this week as a couple starters may not be healthy enough to play Thursday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jessie Bates III (neck) and Chidobe Awuzie (groin) were listed as non-participants Tuesday. It should be noted that while Bates was not dressed for practice, Awuzie was. Perhaps Awuzie could get some work in Wednesday.
Trae Waynes (hamstring) did end up practicing and looks to be on track to play for the first time in his Bengals career.
