Giovani Bernard, who has started at running back for the past four games, did not practice due to a concussion. If Bernard is in the concussion protocol, that puts his status for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants in jeopardy.
What’s interesting is that Bernard spoke with the media before Wednesday’s practice. If the team knew he had a concussion, they wouldn’t have had him speak in front of a camera, no matter how severe the concussion is.
